Security Services Opportunity
G4S is looking for a Security Officer to help protect people, property and facilities by controlling access, conducting patrols, responding to incidents and maintaining a safe environment. The role is suitable for candidates with PSIRA Grade C registration and security experience.

Requirements
- Valid PSIRA Grade C registration
- Grade 12 preferred
- Previous security experience advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Clean criminal record
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
Main Duties
- Control entry and exit points
- Verify identities and authorisations of visitors, employees and vehicles
- Maintain visitor and vehicle records
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols
- Monitor CCTV and security systems
- Report security risks, incidents and suspicious activities
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, theft, vandalism and medical incidents
- Assist with evacuations when required
- Prepare incident reports and daily activity reports
- Assist clients, employees and visitors with security-related queries
- Maintain security equipment such as radios and torches
- Follow G4S and PSIRA procedures and standards
