Sampler Opportunity
Bidvest International Logistics (BIL) seeks the permanent placement of two (2) dedicated Samplers to provide manual labour at the Ore Berth Sampling Facility within Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth. The individuals should be fully compliant with all SHERQ safety processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning the client Area
- Advise Supervisor/Controller/Assistant Controller in advance if unable to arive on time or unable to work on any given day
- Move ore samples to designated areas under supervision
- Conduct daily housekeeping to keep site tidy
- Punctuality; arrive on time for all shifts
- Correct PPE to be worn at all time
- Strict adherence to BIL values, time-keeping, punctuality, procedures and code of conduct
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Grade 10 /essential
Competencies:
- Processing ore samples
- Take samples from chutes, place in buckets and seal with lids
- Perform sieving, splitting, crushing and pulverising tasks on machines according to instructions given
